360clean Featured in 'Seven Franchises to Consider With Black Ownership Potentially Immune To Recession' on Black Enterprises
May 2022 – 360clean was recently listed as one of the seven franchises to consider being identified by Eric Stites, chief executive officer of Franchise Business Review, as one of the most diverse brands on his list of recession-proof businesses.
The 360clean franchise opportunity was built by a family that is focused on helping other families achieve their same dream of business ownership. 360clean has come a long way since it was founded as a part-time janitorial service company in 2005 by Barry Bodiford and Allison Bodiford, a full-time pharmaceutical industry employee at the time of the company’s beginning. 360clean has differentiated themselves from others in the industry by focusing on things that are missing such as culture and forming relationships with people helping set themselves apart and grow the #360fam.
Black Enterprises states, "Franchising has been popular among Black entrepreneurs for years as an operating business model. Roughly 26 percent of franchises are owned by people of color, versus 17 percent of independent businesses generally, Oxford Economics figures show." Eric Stites provided a list of brands from his recommendations with the approximate percentage of Black owners within each brand based on FBR Survey data placing 360clean at the top of the list with 49% black ownership.
